University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), a well-known university in China for Information Technology, is collaborating with Central Department of Journalism and Mass Communication for quite some time. Prof. Dr. Han Hong, Deputy Dean, School of Public Administration, together with other Professor paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Vishnu Prasad Pandey, Executive Director of Centre for International Relations (CIR), Tribhuvan University on 6^th November, 2025. We discussed on various areas of ongoing collaboration and also agreed to explore potential areas for collaborating in the areas of Information Technology and beyond.

Subsequently, CIR coordinated for a meeting with Dean of Institute of Engineering to explore potential areas of collaboration in the areas of Computer Engineering and IT. The meeting held on 9^th November, 2025 was attended by Dean of IoE, Assistant Dean, and some faculty members related to computer Engineering. They exchanged each other’s interest to strengthen ties in the areas of mutual interest.
