In the quest to contribute to the internationalization of Tribhuvan University (TU), the Centre for International Relations (CIR) was established in April 1998, nearly four decades after the founding of TU. CIR aims to foster academic and research collaboration and cooperation between TU and institutions worldwide by promoting academic and research partnerships, student and faculty mobility, and sharing of knowledge, expertise, and technology.
