Tribhuvan University and the University of Wyoming have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in September 2013. Subsequently, the delegates from both universities have paid visit to each other over the years. With the aim of further strengthening the tie with Tribhuvan University, a high-level delegation from the University of Wyoming led by Dr. Isadora Helfgott, Vice Provost for Global Engagement, paid a courtesy visit to Tribhuvan University on 10th November 2025. The Wyoming delegation included Dr. John Koprowski, Dean of the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources; Dr. Kelly Crane, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences, and Natural Resources; Margaret McElligott, Assistant Director, Internationals Students and Scholars, University of Wyoming; and Ajay Karki, a Doctoral Student at the University of Wyoming. Authorities who participated from the Tribhuvan University side included Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Dr. Khadga KC (Rector), Prof. Dr. Kedar Rijal (Registrar), Prof. Dr. Vishnu Prasad Pandey (Executive Director, Centre for International Relations), and deans of various institutes, heads of Central Departments under Institute of Science and Technology, among others.
Both sides felt that there are a lot of room for leveraging each other’s expertise to contribute more in academics, research and to the society through strengthening collaboration. Both sides agreed to continue working together, even more intensely in the coming years.
